Fantasy merges with Lightspeed

Fantasy has been merged with Lightspeed. John Joseph Adams also takes over as publisher starting with issue 19. This is probably good news for everybody. For just a buck more you get the four stories you normally would have read in Fantasy along with the four stories from Lightspeed. Adams also states that each ebook edition will also contain a novella. They bad part is that Adams is going to do away with the non-fiction articles (other than a couple interviews per issue). That stinks as the non-fiction articles are usually the only reason I ever purchase a genre related magazine. Ah well, you can’t have everything and $3.99 for eight stories and one novella is still a pretty good deal.
